Weak-lensing catalogues, mass maps, and redshift calibration
Understanding how weak-lensing measurements are built, calibrated, and validated, from galaxy redshifts and shear catalogues to mass-map reconstruction.
I am an observational cosmologist and Ramón y Cajal Fellow at ICE-CSIC, and PI of the ERC-funded research programme COSMO-SBI, focused on simulation-based inference, weak gravitational lensing, CMB secondary anisotropies, and nonlinear large-scale structure.
My work combines survey data, forward modelling, higher-order statistics, and multi-probe inference, with current leadership and analysis activities in DES, Euclid, and SPT.
Current group openings and relevant external fellowship routes are collected on the opportunities page.
I am an observational cosmologist working across the full weak-lensing analysis chain, from the construction and calibration of survey data products to cosmological inference. This includes redshift calibration, shear catalogues, mass maps, and systematic-error tests.
I also develop higher-order statistics and simulation-based inference methods to extract information beyond standard two-point analyses, and I combine galaxy weak lensing with CMB lensing and the thermal Sunyaev–Zel’dovich effect.
I am based at the Institute of Space Sciences (ICE-CSIC) in Barcelona and am part of the ICE-CSIC Cosmology Group.

Higher-order statistics, learned summaries, and simulation-based inference, with a focus on robust cosmological analyses.
Combining galaxy weak lensing with CMB secondary anisotropies to probe matter, gas, baryonic feedback, and cosmology across a broad range of scales and redshifts.
